Champions League: PSG See Off Arsenal and Book Their Place in the Final!

Paris Saint-Germain are through to the UEFA Champions League final after a solid 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the second leg of the semi-finals. Having already claimed a crucial 1-0 away win at the Emirates Stadium last week, the Parisians sealed the deal at home to punch their ticket to Munich.

Despite dominating possession (55%) and registering 19 shots, Arsenal could only manage 4 on target. PSG, on the other hand, were cold and calculated – 6 shots on target, 2 goals. That ruthless efficiency proved to be the difference on a night where both teams left it all on the pitch.

Fabián Ruiz got the scoring started in the 27th minute with a precise strike that sent the Parc des Princes into celebration. Later in the second half, Achraf Hakimi surged forward and finished clinically in the 72nd minute to make it 2-0.

Arsenal responded four minutes later with a goal from Bukayo Saka (76'), but it wasn’t enough. The Gunners, despite showing flashes of brilliance, failed to unlock a disciplined Parisian backline.

With this result, PSG advances to the Champions League final, where they will face Inter Milan – who overcame Barcelona in the other semi-final. The final is scheduled for May 31, 2025, at the iconic Allianz Arena in Munich.
